Project Scope

Product Selection
Britannia supplied and fitted FSI fire protection systems inc, batt’s, intumescent sealants, intumescent wraps and mortars in accordance with main contractor scope of works and FSI accreditation.
The Application
Working under the supervision of a fully trained supervisor, operatives working mainly from MEWPS due to the sheer size of the stages and worked closely with the site team to ensure the correct sequence of works in line with the dry wall and acoustic covering schedule – each stage of the works were recorded using our plan radar software system enabling pictures and locations of each items to be uploaded in real time thus creating a full in-depth record of all installs that can be shared with the client and the International Fire Consultants (IFC) as evidence that all works are complete to the required standards and regulations – this is then handed over at the end of the project within our O&M manuals.
Summary
Britannia Acoustic and Fire Ltd worked closely with the client to ensure that the vital fire protection & Acoustic sound dampening works were completed efficiently and followed all the correct guidelines. This helped bring the project to a finish so we could pass over to the relevant building control and fire brigade to ensure all works were up to standard to get project sign off. Using our electronic system we were able to provide the client with information, location and photos of each section of the works (in real time) so they were able to monitor and see for themselves the progress and achievements made to ensure works were being completed accordingly.
